Only one person needs to register for your organisation. Once they've done that, they are the administrator and can add the trustees (and anyone else) that should take part in reviewing your governance.
Everyone added by your administrator will get an email with a link back to this site – and a prompt to answer the seven sets of questions about your board of trustees and how you work together.
Once they’ve done that, they’re finished. After everyone has answered the questions, the administrator will be able to view, export and share a summary of the responses.
The Governance App isn’t about giving you a score for your governance (although it will do that!), it’s about helping you to have the right conversations as a board of trustees that will enable you to improve and develop your governance.
Make time on your board meeting agenda to talk about where you are doing well, where you need to focus on improving and any other issues that arise.
Once you’ve identified areas to focus on, agree what actions you will take, who will lead on them and set a deadline for reviewing the progress.
